We are proud to be able offer our clients here in mid-coast Maine, Real Feather Hair Extensions! We exclusively use Fine"Featherheads" beautiful feathers. These folks really have created a great product. They hold up well and are easy to change if you would like to switch to a different color of feather.

The scoop:
Original Fine Featherheads are our preferred line, and consist of four feathers bonded at the tip to create one extension, ranging in length from 8 – 12 inches.Our feathers come in a full spectrum of colors—from subtle and natural to playful and wild—and a variety of lengths, from 3 to 16 inches. They can be brushed, blow-dried, straightened and curled (up to 450°F)—basically, they can be treated like natural hair.

The Featherheads product line include Originals, Wispers, Accents, Shorties and Pet Plumes. So, what makes our feathers stand out? Well, they're effortless to install (use our search feature to find a salon near you). They’re reusable. All natural. High-quality. Hand-crafted. And the patent (pending) technique of bonding the feathers means that the feathers will remain in place longer—up to two months, depending on how they're cared for.

This line of products just rolled out from a company called "Mind Set".  This New England based company set out to create a product that is sustainable, organic and local based. Even the bottles and labels come from local companies. This is wehta they have to say about their product...
